A man who stayed with missing teenager Jay Slater at an AIrbnb the night before he mysteriously vanished has broken his silence.
Ayub Qassim is reported to have invited Jay back to the holiday apartment after attending a rave in South Tenerife, before he disappeared the following day. The 31-year-old, who booked the Airbnb under the name of Ayub Abdul, has already spoken to Spanish police along with another man. Mr Qassim, who is back at his home in Barking, east London, denied that he had an argument with Jay. Meanwhile, ex-British police detective Mark Williams-Thomas has questioned why Jay didn't return to his Airbnb to charge his phone or get some water.
