“We are in an historically low interest rate environment there are good mortgage rates out there so it's created the ideal environment out there for upsizing,” Domain’s Dr Nicola Powell said.

Holdfast Bay, at 2.7 per cent, also continues to rise, along with suburbs in the Tea Tree Gully and Mitcham council areas.
