The Methodist Church Nigeria, on Wednesday urged the Buhari Government to do more in the area of securing the lives and property of the citizens.
“The state of the nation, particularly the level of insecurity, is a big concern. We hope that in President Muhammadu Buhari’s re-election, he will do a lot to better than he has done in the past. The Synod also called on the Federal Government to arrest the significant and sharp drop being presently witnessed across the country in the power sector.
“State governments should ensure that the new minimum wage of N30,000 is paid without hitch as workers in Nigeria deserve some reasonable level of remuneration for their labour.
