“I did the appointment directly on my own and, throughout the inquest, no one raised any issues so I thought everything was okay. This included the testimony of Dr Shahrom Abdul Wahid, who caused controversy when he became the only witness to tell the inquest that Adib sustained injuries after he was pulled from an Emergency Medical Rescue Services vehicle and assaulted.Zuraida also gave assurance that a new deputy public prosecutor will be appointed prior to the next inquest hearing date on June 26.

Even the AGC appoint external lawyers. If the AG insists you do the opposite IN THE MIDDLE OF THE TRIAL, that means something wrong WITH HIM, not u.
It was done with full insight but probably not foresight. With hindsight comes the excuse of oversight!
Even now the act of demanding three names of DPP makes me wonder whether you really know the role of AG. The legal adviser of your department is incompetent and so too those allowed she to act in conflict of interest if this long.
