The 32-year-old was arrested at his Lidcombe home in western Sydney on Monday afternoon after he allegedly contacted witnesses in cases before the courts.
Last week, Mr Mehajer faced Parramatta Court and requested changes to his bail conditions, including that he would be allowed access to a mobile phone for"safety reasons". The former businessman also asked for some other bail variations, including that he be allowed to live at home without his mother, and for access to social media site Instagram.
He spent the night behind bars at Burwood Police Station, and is expected to learn whether his requested variations to his bail will be granted when he faces Burwood Court today.in which his Mercedes slammed into another car just before he was due to appear in court.
