A charity has been wound up after its boss spent donations on a Range Rover, his medical expenses, and his mortgage.
Mr Lennox received payments totalling £119,650 via 36 cheques from the charity's bank account, Judge Clive Jones said.

Not all Charities are corrupt I myself was homeless 2 years ago & was saved by wearesecondstep the support I receive is life changing I struggle with stories like this while we have people sleeping in door ways. Without charities we would see the true extent political corruption
I never give to big charities , CEO’s on hundreds of thousands a year ,numerous perks ,dozens of board members but when people ask for help ..it’s sorry ...too many cutbacks .

Extactly the reason I don’t give to charities. Never been convinced the money gets to where it’s meant to.
Seems like he got away without any sort of conviction for deception. For someone with no conscience there is nothing to deter this continuing to happen. The guy is probably already starting a new “Charity” to pay for his next car.
And this is why I don't donate. Charities now are ripping people off, please post a list with the salaries of the 10 top charities, make your position useful. Because so MANY of these top dogs are on thieving salaries. care honesty transparancy

Most charity’s should’ve solved the worlds problems with the amount of money donated over the years. Most probably billions have been donated to charities for third world countries and yet we still are the same.
Yet every global charity, jet about, holding massive conferences around the world, racing in their 4x4s to televise the next African disaster. All to take money using emotional blackmail just to keep the CEOs in their big fancy waged jobs. And the beat goes on.
