Planning Minister Rob Stokes flags medium density housing code review | JakeSaulwick

A code to make it easier for landowners and developers to build terraces and other medium-density homes should be in application across more suburbs of Sydney by the end of the year.

But the Planning Minister, Rob Stokes, is a keen supporter of the medium-density housing code as a means to increase the diversity of housing. Under the code, certain types of medium density housing would be classified as “complying development,” making it much easier for landowners and developers to gain development approval.
