The Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency, SEMA Alh. Yusuf Sani Babura disclosed this in an exclusive interview with DAILY POST in Dutse.
Babura said the affected local governments include Ringim, Jahun, Garki, Buji, Miga and Kiyawa local governments. Babura said in Buji local government, about 300 houses were affected by the windstorms in five communities.He further stated that in Kiyawa local government, the disaster has destroyed over 200 houses.Babura stated that the windstorms also affected hospitals, electric poles, schools, markets, livestock, silos and other public buildings in the affected areas.
