.SharriMarkson: I expect the tax package to be waived through the Senate because Labor does not want to spend the next three years as the party that voted against tax cuts. That would gift the govt a brutal campaign to wage against Labor. MORE:

The government has secured its first major win since re-election after gathering the crucial crossbench votes needed to pass its full $158 billion income tax cut package without Labor’s support. Senator Jacqui Lambie has confirmed she will vote for the bill after demanding Tasmania's $157 million social housing debt be forgiven. The government has not yet guaranteed it will waive the debt.

Centre Alliance, which has two senators in federal parliament, says it has struck a deal with the government to support its tax package in return for gas supply reforms. The contentious package passed the House of Representatives on Tuesday and is expected to pass the Senate on Thursday. Should the package successfully pass, Finance Minister Mathias Cormann has told Sky News that ‘from the end of next week, people can receive up to $1,080 in their bank account’.

SharriMarkson Refusing to vote for them and just letting them pass is the same thing. They are not endorsing what the people voted for...they have learned nothing.

SharriMarkson The second labor gets in destroy the rich and powerful auspol

SharriMarkson Jacqui Lambie makes a deal on tax cuts with the Morrison Govt in return she will get help to tackle Homelessness in Tasmania. Good News BUT What's good for the goose is good for the gander If it is good for Tasmania, Then is should be good for all States and territories

Don't you just love how a bunch of ideological turds are driving Australia towards economic ruin.
