Hoping to avoid paying Stamp Duty Land Tax? You won't need to pay SDLT tax if the property is worth less than this threshold

Stamp Duty Land Tax is a tax which some people may be required to pay upon the purchasing of a property. When it comes to a residential property, in England and Northern Ireland, the tax may be payable at increasing portions of the property price above the threshold. At the time of writing, the SDLT threshold for a residential property stands at £125,000.
