A teenage girl has been charged with property damage after more than a dozen government cars were vandalised in Adelaide's south.
Members of the public called police just after midnight, alerting them to loud noises coming from the car park of the Housing SA offices on Diagonal Road, Sturt. When they arrived, officers discovered 14 cars had been smashed and graffiti etched on one of the vehicles. Eleven of the vehicles belong to Housing SA. The damage forced staff to borrow vehicles from other offices to make urgent house calls today.
Two other vehicles belong to the Department of Child Protection, while the other vehicle was a staff member's private car.She was refused bail to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court today.
So two girls go out of their way to attack housing S.A and child protection services for no apparent reason.
