Real estate mogul Brandon Miller was slapped with a lawsuit for more than $100,000 over unpaid bills for a luxury furniture rental at a posh Manhattan condo just months before his shocking death, according to court records.
The lawsuit claimed Miller stopped making monthly payments for the company’s furniture rentals and styling services in December 2022 at his residence at 737 Park Avenue. Miller then extended the deal for another year, agreeing to pay monthly payments of $10,724.00, plus tax, before the payments stopped, according to legal documents. After multiple attempts to take back their furniture and requests for payment, the company filed its lawsuit on April 19.Lawyers representing Interior Marketing Group did not respond to requests for comment. Miller’s legal representation was not disclosed in court documents.
The company has purchased or developed more than 20 million square feet of real estate properties throughout the country, including numerous properties in New York City that include 985 Park Ave., 156 Prince St. and 1228 Madison.The furniture rental battle is not the first legal headache Miller has faced in recent years.
