Question is there enough PPE being provided to care homes to facilitate visitors saying goodbye? I am not knocking this at all I would want to say goodbye however I would also want to protect others

Humane thing to do in care homes, questions from journalists shows their ignorance about what happens in homes, especially for those living with Dementia. They also have to avoid going into hospital, as much as possible, as alien places, for those living with Dementia.

Tough call....clinically incorrect.....but we can't abandon our humanity.
