Residents in the suburb of Wamberal on the NSW Central Coast are concerned their homes may slip into the ocean after extreme surf conditions over the last few days eroded the beach.
In a Facebook post, Terrigal Fire and Rescue said the homes were at "significant risk of structural collapse due to beach erosion." A collapsed balcony at one of the Wamberal properties, where fire crews say homes are at risk of structural collapse.
If you build a house on a cliff right at the oceans edge, what do you expect? The ocean naturally eroded cliffs every day, it doesn’t care if you put your house there 🤦🏻♀️
Shouldn’t you expect that if you live right on the beach?
It’s the fault of the Greens for banning backburning.
