Globe president and chief executive Ernest Cu said Isabela 6th District Rep. Faustino Dy V will refile the House measure aksing property developers to provide telecom space for network infrastructure in housing developments to ensure equitable and expansive Internet access across the country.

Globe welcomed Dy’s move to push for the bill, saying it would enable Globe to pursue its aggressive network expansion and widen the reach of Globe’s connectivity to deliver a first-world network to the Philippines. House Bill 10388 aims to require developers to properly provision ICT facilities for telcos, removing a hurdle they would often face in building cell sites.
