The three APC senatorial district candidates were led on the visit by the senator representing Kogi East senatorial district, Senator Jubril Isah Echocho, alongside Karimi Sunday Steve and Engr Abubakar Sadiq Ohere, came to pay a solidarity visit to the governor over the recent security breach that occurred in Ajaokuta.Governor Bello assured Kogi residents that more will be done to bring an end to crimes and criminalities that has resurfaced in some parts of the state, especially Ajaokuta LGA.
Mr Bello said there have been several motions and resolutions in the last seven years that have yielded no fruitful results, lamenting that Nigerians have continued to suffer, killed and deprived of their daily needs. The governor regretted that farmers can no longer have rest of mind let alone go to their farms. He assured that such unhealthy situation will never be allowed to continue, saying whatever is humanly possible, his administration would do so as not to allow insurgents from within or outside the country be allowed to operate in the State.
Bello promised to recover all for his people. He pointed out that you can’t deprive the people of their rights to legitimately carry out businesses without fear of insecurity.
