Although nothing has been made public yet, no doubt people have their own thoughts about what future plans might involve. My guess would be yet another Tim Hortons. But in my uneducated opinion, it remains an ideal location for a replacement motel and restaurant. This is a very valuable piece of property that should be used to its maximum potential.

The Whim Inn restaurant and its predecessor, the Kingsway Motel, were very popular with a steady clientele for many years. The property is ideally situated near the Poole's Corner roundabout, a major crossroads with exits in all four directions: Montague and points beyond to the south and southeast; Georgetown and the Brudenell golf course to the east; Cardigan and other points to the north and northeast; and Charlottetown and all points in between and beyond to the west.
