A 'subject of interest' was arrested after reports of a shooting that occurred at the University of Arizona. The investigation remained ongoing.

University of Arizona police arrested a"subject of interest" after reports of an early morning shooting Sunday on campus.

At 2:41 a.m., the Tucson Police Department responded to reported gunshots at a University of Arizona on-campus housing unit near the 1010 block of north Tyndall Avenue. University of Arizona police issued a statement warning people to stay away from the area around The Hub Apartments as a shooting had occurred.

At 4 a.m., a"subject of interest" was arrested, police said. Shortly after, police issued an all-clear. The investigation remained ongoing.
