San Diego police are investigating a series of incidents — described as sexual battery and indecent exposure offenses — earlier this month in which an unknown assailant targeted women who were jogging in University City.
In each of the five incidents, the assailant followed the victim from a park and then accosted them outside their homes or on the street, police spokesman Lt. Adam Sharki said. Police said the incidents occurred in the afternoon and at night between Feb. 7 to Feb. 17 at the following locations:Near Nobel Drive and Regents RoadThe assailant was described as Black, between 20 to 30 years old years, and between 5-feet, 8-inches and 6-feet tall. He weighs approximately 165 to 185 pounds and has an athletic/muscular build, short locs or dreads in his hair and brown eyes. police said.
