ILLEGAL suites, if you're a Tennant of one of these, you don't qualify 🤦‍♀️

At least Justin thinks he's helping.

Takes more effort to apply than the pittance being offered-what a joke that benefit is!!

Stop advertising it. Let it expire. Respect the taxpayer.

Build a tiny home on wheels fully insulated and leave this city for good! Build one yourself for 70.000 or have one built 130.000 It's a solution for housing that more people should consider!

Their loss, most people don't watch or listen to local news. My neighbors don't. One listen American news the other has no clue what is going on in Canada. Not sure what they listen to if any.

Are you including people who do not qualify. How accurate is your number?

Everyone working under the table and not filing taxes. Lol

Ah yes. Just what we need. More people dependent on the government…

Creeping communism

Ya they fail to tell people that if you pay more than 30% of your income on rent they don't care cause you can ONLY apply if you make 20k if you're single and 25k if you're a couple to qualify so if you make 22k a year and spend 30% of that on rent you DON'T qualify at all ur SOL

That's because they're homeless now or have no utilities like phone or cable to get the news

We have the biggest land in America, but one of the most expensive real estate markets in the world. Most of Canada is filled with wild forests. You need wise people like me to run this country.

Classic liberal ‘solution’ that solves nothing and makes for a photo op. Imagine the red tape involved in this idiotic program. All to avoid actually doing something about the housing crisis. Pathetic.

In order to qualify you literally have to make 20k/year or less. Rent is 24k/year. No one who makes so little as to qualify, makes ENOUGH to be a renter. Someone making that has to live in mom's basement, not an apartment.

This is one the most useless programs the feds have done in a long time.

We dont qualify we earn too much.

I applied, got denied. It's determined by 2021 income, not 2022. So it doesn't actually help people's current situation.

I wonder if it could be the fact that you want income from 2021 and not from 2022 which makes more freaking sense. It cancelled me out.

Maybe they are tired of handouts that just increase inflation, cost of living, taxes, making it more difficult to survive.

Cool, let's get back pennies compared to the rent increases over the past year.

Absolutely silly program. The liberals deserve to lose the next election, and the NDP deserve to fade into irrelevancy again. How about mandating national rent control?

JustinTrudeau HonAhmedHussen could just put housing back into the hands of the feds that Paul Martin scrapped 25 years ago

Give them pennies while you take dollars, so liberal.

garbage
