It seems diversification was good for Sears at a point in time, Until they decided to focus on their core business and sold off great businesses that are still thriving today. Lesson for Managers and executives.

It's sad to see them basically dead while Amazon uses their playbook from their first 1/2 century of business to dominate the world of e-commerce.
