Merseyside police have confirmed officers are currently at a property on Newhall Road after receiving reports of a concern for safety of a man at around 1.25pm. An air ambulance was also called to the scene.
A witness at the scene said a police scientific support unit is also at the estate, and said neighbours were standing outside their homes trying to figure out what had happened place.
