Uxbridge council has passed its 2024 budget with a 5.77 per cent tax increase on the municipal portion of taxes.
The budget includes $22.4-million for operating expenditures and $11-million for capital expenditures.“Finalizing the 2024 Township of Uxbridge Budget was a formidable task given financial pressures from rising costs and inflation. Council and staff delivered a budget that prioritizes the essential services that our residents expect and deserve,” stated Deputy Mayor Willie Popp.
The township’s finance committee also approved a 10-year Capital Investment Plan.
