Thousands of people have attended a protest in Dublin arguing for anti-racism, housing and equality in all its forms.

Beginning at Parnell Square this afternoon, participants say they want to support minority groups and the anti-war movement.Protestors marched to Merrion Square, where several activists spoke in favour of increased social rights in Ireland.

Other groups taking part include Black and Irish, the Irish Refugee Council and Trans & Intersex Pride. Lé Cheile organiser Claire O’Connor said protestors seek to “stand in solidarity with a lot of the communities that are being targeted at the minute”.“We want to see housing and health, social rights, human rights for everybody.
