They will be detached, semi-detached, bungalows, terraced and maisonette homes

A rapidly growing Nottinghamshire town could get even bigger as the council receives an application regarding a further 90 houses. The additional homes have already been granted outline permission for land south of Hollygate Lane and north of Colston Gate in Cotgrave, but now developers are seeking approval of the layout, scale and appearance of the homes.

These would vary in detached, semi-detached, bungalow, terraced and maisonette homes ranging from one to four bedrooms. All of the homes would also have no more than two storeys. County councillor for the area Richard Butler said: "Cotgrave is not a town in the true sense of the word. It is a fairly large village, and I am keen that it keeps that feeling.
