The largest portion going down that pipeline is to U.S. refineries in Puget Sound. Good luck turning that off. The next largest portion is refined products from Alberta. Turning that off would hurt Albertans. The prime minister’s policy to open up Canada to anyone who whispers “refugee” — especially from Syria, by the sounds of it — may put him in good standing with the United Nations, but is it in the best interests of Canadians?
