A BUILDING firm who had been due to build more than 200 affordable homes for Fife Council has collapsed.

Liquidators have been appointed for First Endeavour LLP who, back in March, had their contracts"regrettably cancelled" by the local authority.

A winding up order went before Dunfermline Sheriff Court earlier this month after the firm was unable to pay £120,000 of debt to Breedon Trading Limited, a building supplies firm.A spokesperson said:"We can confirm that Ken Pattullo and Kenny Craig of Begbies Traynor have been appointed as joint interim liquidators of First Endeavour LLP and are currently investigating its financial affairs.
