Firefighters in Queensland and NSW are battling fatigue after days of fighting the bushfire crisis ravaging Australia. 9News

We'll be back in the next few hours to bring you the latest on the continued bushfire emergency across Queensland and NSW, which is entering its second week.In Queensland, hot, dry and windy westerly winds are expected today, with a severe fire danger in place in the Darling Downs and Granite Belt district.

In NSW, the Bureau of Meteorology warns warm, dry and windy conditions could bring elevated fire dangers. This morning, the NSW RFS will open more than 130 brigades to chat with residents about their local risk, property preparation, and making a plan.
